British Columbia has conducted its first PNP draw of June. Last month, the province conducted four invitation rounds under the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP). BC conducts 4-5 draws every month.
The BC PNP draw held on June 04, 2024, saw invitations being issued to 68 candidates with work experience in in-demand occupations including Childcare, Construction, Healthcare, and Tech.
Stream | Draw Types | Minimum Score Required | Number of invitations issued |
Skilled Worker, International Graduate (includes EEBC option) | Childcare | 93 | 8 |
Construction | 93 | 14 | |
Healthcare | 100 | 13 | |
Tech | 122 | 33 |
If you’ve been invited in this draw, you will have 30 days to submit a complete application via BCPNP’s online portal. You must apply before your nomination expires. If the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) approves your application, you will be issued a nomination package - which you can use to apply for permanent residency.
If you haven't been invited, your profile will remain active in the pool for 12 months from the date of registration. You may be invited in the next BC PNP draw. The BC PNP conducts draws regularly, typically every week. These draws invite candidates from various streams, such as the Skills Immigration and Express Entry BC streams, to apply for a provincial nomination for permanent residence.
The next British Columbia PNP draw is projected to be conducted on 11 June 2024. The number of invitations, minimum score, and draw-type are determined by the BC PNP. The information is not published beforehand.
Invitations are aligned with B.C. government priorities, focusing on supporting specific business sectors, promoting regional immigration, and facilitating strategic pilot projects. The number of invitations and the frequency of ITA draws for all streams are managed to maintain standard processing times and support B.C.'s priorities.
In 2023, British Columbia emphasized attracting skilled workers and international graduates. In 2024, its welcoming atmosphere and commitment to diversity continue to make it an attractive choice for individuals seeking to apply for Canada PR this year.
