British Columbia has issued approximately 12,000 invitations to file for provincial nomination so far in 2021. In addition, British Columbia immigration has given 71 invites to skilled professionals, and overseas graduates in a new BC PNP Tech draw.
Invitations were sent on December 14th through four British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program streams. The invites were distributed by the BC PNP Tech, a part of the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP).
The British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) is an economic immigration method utilized by the government of British Columbia to attract experienced, in-demand foreign professionals. The program provides a pathway to Canada PR for persons who desire to live and work in British Columbia.
Candidates selected through BC's Tech draws must fulfil the requirements of one of British Columbia's Express Entry BC or Skills immigration categories overseen by the Skills and Immigration Registration System (SIRS).
Candidates who earned invites in this draw came from the Skilled Worker (SI), International Graduate (SI), Skilled Worker (EEBC), International Graduate (EEBC) subcategories and should have a provincial score of at least 80. Candidates invited to apply for the nomination now have 30 calendar days to do so.
