British Columbia PNP Draw Issues 33 Invitations Through Health Support Initiative

British Columbia has conducted its second Skills Immigration draw of September 2026 under the BC PNP, inviting 33 candidates to apply for permanent residence (PR).

This latest draw reflects the province's renewed focus on Temporary Rural/Remote Health Support Initiative and comes amid newly imposed application limits for the year.

BC PNP Latest Draw - Results

The latest BC PNP draw was held on September 17, 2026. A total of 33 invitations through temporary rural/remote health support initiative were issued under the skilled immigration stream.

Importantly, invitations were only sent to candidates who had submitted qualified registrations before the draw date. Those who receive an invitation now have 30 days to submit a complete application for permanent residency to the BC PNP. Missing this deadline means the invitation becomes invalid.

British Columbia has been active across nearly all of its BCPNP streams this year, and more than 5,400 skills invitations issued so far in 2026 reflect that pace.

What Should Applicants Do Next?

If you are working in a cleaning or security role for a BC health authority in a rural/remote community, the first step is to confirm with your employer whether they plan to nominate you. Timing is important, as these specific draws are not held on a fixed schedule. If you are fully ready when your employer decides to move forward, you will be able to avoid missing an invitation round.

It is also important to keep your documentation, your language test results, and any required provincial criteria up to date. Although a provincial nomination can significantly strengthen your route to permanent residence, the process has certain requirements, deadlines, and documentation which must be carefully fulfilled.

Currently, 80% of British Columbia PNP applications are processed within 9–12 months, making it one of the more efficient immigration streams in Canada.
