Fifth BC PNP of the month invites 79 candidates for PR

The province of British Columbia has conducted a new draw. This was the fifth invitation round conducted through the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) in April.

The BC PNP latest draw saw invitations being issued to 79 candidates under the Skilled Worker and International Graduate stream. Candidates from in-demand sectors in BC including Childcare, Healthcare, and Construction were targeted in this draw.

Candidates invited to this BC PNP draw will now have 30 days to submit a complete application for permanent residence (PR) to the BC PNP.

On the other hand, candidates who did not get invited will remain active in the pool of candidates. They can expect to receive an invitation in the next BC PNP draw. The next BC PNP draw is projected to be conducted on May 08, 2024.

BC PNP Draws

British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) draws are held every week, usually on a Wednesday. The program currently invites candidates under two immigration streams:

  • Skills Immigration
  • Entrepreneur Immigration

Invitations are issued based on the information you provide while applying to the BC PNP. Candidates with the highest scores in BC’s points grid, aka BC PNP points calculator - and issued an invitation to apply for Canada PR. The draw type, stream, minimum score, and number of invitations are not published beforehand.

80% of applications under the BC PNP are processed within 8-10 months.
