Latest BC PNP Draw invited 160 eligible Immigrants

The province of British Columbia welcomed over 160 Canada immigration candidates through the BC PNP on April 12, 2022. (British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program).

Except for Quebec and Nunavut, the majority of Canadian provinces and territories have their own PNPs. Through these initiatives, interested persons may be asked to seek for a provincial nomination. Although provincial nomination is not synonymous with permanent residency, it can considerably improve one's prospects of gaining permanent resident status.

For example, PNP applicants with Express Entry profiles who are nominated earn 600 points added to their score. They may also be invited to apply for a PNP-specific batch of invites.

BC issued invitations to immigration candidates as part of their PNPs on April 12, 2022. The following are the specifics of the new draws.

These candidates must now meet the requirements of one of British Columbia's Express Entry BC or Skills Immigration categories, as managed by the Skills and Immigration Registration System (SIRS).

Candidates who received invites in this draw came from the Skilled Worker, International Graduate, Entry Level, and Semi-Skilled subcategories and were required to have a provincial score ranging from 70 to 87, depending on the stream.

The province has also organized rounds of invites for candidates in various occupations for many weeks in order to meet expanding labor demands in critical sections of the economy. The province invited the following people to the draw, which will be held on April 12, 2022:
