Latest BC PNP draw invites 377 foreign workers and graduates

The British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) has conducted its skills immigration draw of 2024. 

The latest BC PNP draw held on 10 January 2024, saw invitations being issued to 377 candidates under the Skilled Worker and International Graduate streams. Apart from the general invitations, candidates from specific in-demand sectors including Childcare, Construction, Healthcare, and Veterinary Care were targeted in this draw.

British Columbia periodically invites candidates who are registered in the pool to apply to the BC PNP. Information provided in the registrations is used to rank candidates who are most likely to meet BC’s economic and labour market needs.

Invitations are issued to eligible candidates every week. The frequency, size, and type of draw- are determined by the needs of the BC’s application inventory at that time.

The next BC PNP draw is expected to be conducted on 17 January 2024.

In 2023, BC PNP invited a total of 10,061 candidates across 51 such invitation rounds. British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) has been conducting 4-5 draws almost every month in 2023. The same trend is expected to be carried on for 2024 as well.
