Latest BC PNP Draw Invites 504 Skilled Workers for Provincial Nomination

The latest British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) has conducted another draw. This is the 11th invitation round conducted by the province under the Skills Immigration stream in 2026.

On August 6, the BC PNP invited more than 500 applicants to apply for provincial nomination through an occupation-specific draw targeting priority workers. The province selected “highly qualified workers” across a variety of BC PNP occupation in-demand list, including those in construction trades, healthcare, and childcare occupations.

The Latest BC PNP Draw was held on 6th August 2026. A total of 504 invitations were issued under the skilled immigration stream. The CRS score for this BC PNP draw minimum ranges from 68 to 102.

Important Note: As of August 6, 2026, the BC PNP has issued 4,236 invitations to candidates under its Skills Immigration (SI) category through various targeted and priority draws.

BC PNP Targeted Occupations in the Latest Draw

1. Targeted Childcare Occupations: Only applicants working as Early Childhood Educators (NOC 42202) received invitations under this category. To become eligible for a targeted invitation, ECEs must hold a valid one-year or five-year ECE Certificate issued by the ECE Registry.

2. Targeted Healthcare Occupations: The targeted healthcare category consist of:

• Physicians
• Medical Specialist
• Dentist
• Nurse
• Therapists
• Pharmacists
• Laboratory
• Diagnostic Professions
• Paramedical Workers
• Nurse Aides
• Healthcare Technicians
• Social Workers

Applicants under NOC 33102 (nurse aides, orderlies and patient service associates) were eligible only if they were registered with the BC Care Aide & Community Health Worker Registry.

3. Targeted Education Occupations: The targeted education category included French-speaking secondary school and elementary/kindergarten teachers (NOC 41220 and 41221). Candidates needed employment in B.C. 's K-12 system and a minimum NCLC 5 in French.

4. Targeted Veterinary Care Occupations: The veterinary care category included veterinarians (NOC 31103) and animal health technologists and veterinary technicians (NOC 32104). Candidates were required to hold a valid professional designation.

5. Targeted Construction Trades Occupations: The targeted construction category covered welders, electricians, plumbers, carpenters, millwrights, heavy-duty equipment mechanics, and HVAC mechanics. Candidates needed a valid SkilledTradesBC certificate or a relevant SkilledTradesBC apprenticeship registration matching their job offer.
