British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) draws are held every week, usually on a Wednesday. The June 18 draw was conducted for candidates under BC PNP’s Skills Immigration category. No Entrepreneur Immigration category invitations were issued.
The Skills Immigration category consists of five streams, each with a unique set of eligibility criteria.
BC PNP’s Skills Immigration category is a way for workers and recent graduates with the skills, experience and qualifications needed by B.C. employers to permanently settle in B.C. Invitations to apply to in BC PNP Skills Immigration draws are based on one or more factors including Age, Education, Work Experience, Language Proficiency, and more. These factors are collectively classified under the BC PNP points calculator.
The higher the points scored, the more the chances of receiving an invitation to apply for PR in a BC PNP draw. On average, 80% of applications under the BC PNP are processed in 8-10 months.
