How Can Applicants Apply Through the Skills and Entrepreneur Immigration Stream?

Applicants who wish to immigrate to Canada or British Columbia can apply through either the Skills Immigration or Entrepreneur Immigration stream under the British Columbia PNP, based on their eligibility criteria and background.

• BC PNP Skills Immigration Stream: This stream is especially made for skilled professionals who have a valid employment offer from a B.C. employer. Eligible applicants must register online, get a score based on certain factors such as education, wages, work experience and wait for an ITA. Once invited, candidates can submit a complete PR supporting application.

• BC PNP Entrepreneur Immigration Stream: This stream is for experienced entrepreneurs or senior managers. Candidates must satisfy the applicable personal net worth, business experience and investment criteria and submit a viable business plan. The Regional stream also needs a referral from a participating community. Eligible registrants might get an ITA.

Candidates who receive a provincial nomination can then apply for Canadian permanent residence through Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC), subject to the applicable requirements.
