Latest Manitoba PNP Draw invited 315 applicants for provincial nomination

In the latest draw the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) invited candidates to apply for provincial nomination on January 27. A total of 315 candidates were invited from three Provincial Nominee Programs along with few invitations been sent to the Express Entry program candidates. The draw targeted 3 sub-immigration streams- Skilled Workers in Manitoba, Skilled Workers Overseas and the International Education Stream.

212 invitations were sent to the candidates from Skilled Workers in Manitoba Stream with a minimum score of 609. 63 invitations were sent to the Skilled Workers Overseas candidates with a minimum score of 703 and International Education Stream candidates were sent 40 invitations with no minimum score requirement.

Apart from these programs 69 invitations were issued to candidates in the Express Entry system. So far in 2022 the province has invited 758 immigration candidates to apply for a provincial nomination.

The Skilled Workers Overseas and Skilled Workers in Manitoba categories are intended to help Manitoba identify applicants who fit the province's labour market requirements. You must have a full-time employment offer from a provincial company of Manitoba to be eligible for an invitation under the Skilled Workers in Manitoba category.

If the candidates can demonstrate that they have in-demand abilities, international graduates who complete their studies in Manitoba may be eligible for an invitation under the International Education Stream.

Directly applying through Express Entry can result in a permanent residence invitation from the Federal government. A provincial nomination, on the other hand, provides candidates with an extra 600 CRS points, effectively ensuring that they will obtain an Invitation to Apply (ITA) in a subsequent Express Entry draw.

The Comprehensive Ranking System is used to rate immigration prospects who submit a profile to the Express Entry system (CRS). Age, work experience, education, and language skills, among other things, are all given points. Through regular Express Entry draws, the highest-scoring individuals are invited to apply for permanent residency.
