The Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program has issued 30 Letters of Advice to Apply in its latest Expression of Interest (EOI) Draw #246, held under the Skilled Worker Overseas stream. This draw specifically targeted candidates who were directly invited by the Manitoba PNP through a strategic recruitment initiative.

On May 29, 2025, the latest Manitoba PNP draw was held, inviting 30 candidates under the Skilled Worker Overseas Stream. The minimum Comprehensive Ranking Score (CRS) required under the Skilled Worker Overseas stream is 606.

Of the 30 Letters of Advice to Apply issued in this latest draw, 5 were issued to candidates who declared a valid Express Entry profile number and job seeker validation code.

Important Note: Only candidates who were directly invited under a strategic recruitment initiative were considered in this draw. If your score is above 606 but you did not receive an invitation, ensure your EOI profile is up to date with:

• A valid third-party language test number
• A valid strategic recruitment initiative invitation number (if applicable)

Ongoing Support Under Temporary Public Policy

In a related effort to stabilize the labor market, Manitoba continues to support foreign workers with expiring or expired work permits through a temporary public policy introduced by IRCC in August 2024.

Manitoba PNP Eligibility Requirements

• Must have continuously lived in Manitoba before January 15, 2025
• Must hold or have held a work permit expiring in 2024 or 2025
• Must have an active EOI profile with MPNP
• Must possess a current employment letter from a Manitoba employer

The policy provides a pathway for eligible individuals to apply for Open Work Permits. Applicants must request a Support Letter from the Manitoba PNP by completing an online submission form, which includes documentation such as a current or expired work permit.

The application window remains open until December 31, 2025. 

This initiative ensures Manitoba labor market retains skilled foreign workers while helping candidates move to Canadian permanent residency.
