Latest Ontario PNP invites Express entry candidates in 10 targeted occupations

Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) issued 754 invitations in the latest provincial draw held on March 2, inviting Express Entry candidates with Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score between 463 and 467 points.

The Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) has invited applicants who may be eligible for the Human Capital Priorities (HCP) Express Entry stream. Through Ontario PNP, skilled foreign workers can launch their careers in Ontario and live in the most populous province of Canada.

Express Entry candidates that were invited, need to have work experience in one of the following 10 occupations:

NOC code 0122 - Banking, credit and other investment managers;

NOC code 0124 - Advertising, marketing, and public relations managers;

NOC code 0125 - Other business services managers;

NOC code 0601 - Corporate Sales managers;

NOC code 1111 - Financial auditors and accountants;

NOC code 1112 - Financial and investment analysis;

NOC code 1121 - Human Resources Professionals;

NOC code 1122 - Professional occupations in business management consulting;

NOC code 3012 - Registered nurses and registered psychiatric nurses;

NOC code 4163 - Business development officers and marketing researchers and consultants;

These targeted professions were identical to those in the previous draw for Ontario health professionals on February 2.

For an express entry candidate to get a provincial nomination, they must have a minimum of one year of work experience in a skilled occupation. If appointed under this PNP or any other PNP related to Express Entry, they will be pushed back to the front line to receive an Invitation to Apply (ITA) for permanent residence.

Through its Human Capital Priorities Stream, OINP has invited a total of 6,716 Express entry candidates last year. This was the largest proportion of all Express Entry PNP applications that Ontario issued in 2020.
