Canada continues to invite skilled workers through the Provincial Nominee Program. The latest draw offers new opportunities for skilled immigrants seeking Canadian PR.
With the regular draws targeting skilled workers and overseas applicants who can contribute to the long-term growth of the economy.
The province has invited 2,146 candidates in its latest Manitoba PNP draw of 2026, indicating strong immigration targets ahead. The draws are conducted through the Expression of Interest system, in which profiles are ranked, and top candidates are selected regularly.
The latest Manitoba PNP draw was held on July 16, 2026 while inviting 2,146 invitations across different streams, including the International Education Stream (IES), Skilled Worker in Manitoba, and Skilled Worker Stream.
In this section, we’ll break down the streams through which Manitoba invited applicants in its latest Provincial Nominee Program draw.
International Education Stream IES)- Graduate Internship Pathway GIP): A total of 78 Applicants will be issued a Letter of Advice to Apply under this stream selection, if they meet all eligibility criteria, which include:
Skilled Worker in Manitoba stream:
The number of invitations is further divided into three different Invitation to Apply (ITA) under the Skilled Worker in Manitoba initiatives that are listed below:
Several letters of Advice to apply have been issued to 24 applicants currently working in Manitoba in the unit groups listed below.
National Occupational Classifications (NOC) 2021 unit groups were given priority under this draw.
31100 – Specialists in clinical and laboratory medicine
31101 – Specialists in surgery
31102 – General practitioners and family physicians
The number of letters of Advice to Apply issued is 84. Applicants who declared French as their language of communication with the MPNP and have a valid French-language test result will be considered in this draw.
Top-ranked applicants declared that they or their spouse have completed their post-secondary education in Manitoba.
Skilled Worker Stream
Applicants who have submitted their applications under the Skilled Worker in Manitoba pathway or the Skilled Worker Overseas pathway are being directly invited by the MPNP as part of a strategic recruitment initiative.
Candidates who reported receiving an Invitation to Apply (ITA) under the following strategic recruitment initiatives received the following numbers of Letters of Advice to Apply:
Candidates who declared a valid Express Entry profile number and job seeker validation code received 825 of the 2,146 Letters of Advice to Apply given in this draw.
