Manitoba has issued new invitations to skilled workers under its Strategic Recruitment Initiatives, strengthening its efforts to attract in-demand talent. The latest draw focuses on candidates who meet specific labour market needs and have strong ties to the province, increasing their chances of selection.
However, in the previous draw, the Manitoba PNP sent 46 Letters of Advice to Apply, and so far this year, Manitoba has been inviting 263 skilled individuals to apply for Canada PR.
Through targeted recruitment, Manitoba continues to prioritize applicants with relevant skills, work experience, and the potential to contribute to its growing economy. This draw highlights the province’s commitment to addressing workforce shortages while offering promising pathways to Canada PR.
The latest Manitoba PNP draw was held on March 26, 2026, under the Skilled Worker Stream, issuing 14 Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs) for Permanent Residence.
The number of invitations is further divided into four different Invitation to Apply (ITA) under the strategic recruitment initiatives that are listed below:
Of the 14 Letters of Advice to Apply issued in this draw, 3 were issued to candidates who declared a valid Express Entry profile number and job seeker validation code.
| Date | Number of ITAs Issued |
| March 30, 2026 | 14 |
| March 12, 2026 | 46 |
| February 26, 2026 | 72 |

Immigrating through the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) involves a step-by-step process in which candidates are selected based on their skills, work experience, and connections to the province.
1. Submit an Expression of Interest (EOI): Candidates create an online profile under the MPNP and submit an EOI. This profile includes details like age, education, work experience, language skills, and ties to Manitoba. A score is assigned based on these factors.
2. Receive a Letter of Advice to Apply (LAA): High-ranking candidates are invited through regular draws. If selected, you receive a Letter of Advice to Apply, allowing you to submit a full application.
3. Apply to the MPNP: After receiving the LAA, candidates must submit all required documents, including proof of work experience, education, language results, and connection to Manitoba.
4. Get a Provincial Nomination: If your application is approved, Manitoba nominates you. This nomination significantly boosts your chances of getting permanent residency.
5. Apply for Canada PR: Finally, you apply to the federal government for permanent residency. If you are in the Express Entry stream, you receive additional CRS points, increasing your likelihood of receiving an ITA.
This structured pathway makes the MPNP a popular choice for skilled workers aiming to settle in Manitoba and secure Canada PR.
