Manitoba has released a new Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) draw to invite skilled workers. The latest update from the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program brings fresh opportunities for candidates seeking Canadian PR. Manitoba continues to invite skilled workers through targeted draws aligned with its labour market needs, making it an attractive destination for immigrants.
These Manitoba PNP draws focus on selecting candidates with relevant work experience, education, and strong potential to contribute to the province’s economy. The province has also been allocated over 603 nominations for the year, indicating strong immigration targets ahead.
With regular draws and evolving criteria, candidates now have a better chance of qualifying by improving their profiles and meeting eligibility requirements.
The latest Manitoba PNP draw was held on April 23, 2026, under the Skilled Worker in Manitoba (Occupation-specific selection) and Skilled Worker Stream, issuing 308 Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs) for Permanent Residence.
(Occupation-specific selection)
Profiles declaring current employment in Manitoba in the broad occupational category listed below were considered.
Number of Letters of Advice to Apply issued: 192
Occupations under the following broad occupational category were considered in this draw:
Number of Letters of Advice to Apply issued: 116
The number of invitations is further divided into four different Invitation to Apply (ITA) under the strategic recruitment initiatives that are listed below:
Of the 308 Letters of Advice to Apply issued in this draw, 105 were issued to candidates who declared a valid Express Entry profile number and job seeker validation code.
To be eligible for draws under the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program, candidates must first create an Expression of Interest profile and meet the requirements of one of its streams, such as Skilled Worker in Manitoba or Skilled Worker Overseas. Applicants are assessed based on factors like age, education, work experience, language proficiency, and adaptability.
For the Skilled Worker in Manitoba stream, candidates typically need current employment in Manitoba with a valid job offer from a local employer. For overseas applicants, having a strong connection to the province, such as family ties, previous education, or an invitation through a strategic recruitment initiative, is important.
Candidates must also meet minimum language requirements and demonstrate sufficient settlement funds if apply for Canada PR. A higher score in the points system increases the chances of receiving a Letter of Advice to Apply, the first step toward a provincial nomination and permanent residency.
