Manitoba continues to invite skilled workers through its Provincial Nominee Program, maintaining a steady pace of targeted draws in 2026.
These draws are conducted through the Expression of Interest system, in which profiles are ranked, and top candidates are selected regularly. So far in 2026, the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program has already issued hundreds of invitations, reflecting its ongoing efforts to attract job-ready talent across key sectors.
The province has also been allocated over 295 nominations for the year, indicating strong immigration targets ahead. This consistent selection pattern highlights Manitoba’s commitment to addressing workforce gaps while offering skilled workers a reliable pathway to Canadian permanent residence.
The latest Manitoba PNP draw was held on April 09, 2026, under the Skilled Worker Stream, issuing 32 Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs) for Permanent Residence.
The number of invitations is further divided into four different Invitation to Apply (ITA) under the strategic recruitment initiatives that are listed below:
| Category | Number of ITAs Issued |
| Employer Services | 10 |
| Ethnocultural Communities | 5 |
| Francophone Community | 7 |
| Regional Communities | 5 |
| Temporary Public Policy to Facilitate Work Permits for Prospective PNP Candidates (TPP) | 5 |
Of the 32 Letters of Advice to Apply issued in this draw, 8 were issued to candidates who declared a valid Express Entry profile number and job seeker validation code.
To strengthen your chances under the Manitoba PNP, focus on improving the factors that impact your Expression of Interest score. Start by increasing your language proficiency, as better test results can significantly raise your ranking. Upgrading your education or adding certifications related to your field can also enhance your profile.
Work experience plays a key role, especially if it aligns with Manitoba in-demand occupations list. Building a connection to the province, such as through family ties, previous study, or employment, can further improve your chances.
You can also explore opportunities to secure a job offer from a Manitoba employer. Keeping your profile up to date and aligned with current labour market needs can help you stand out and receive an invitation sooner.
