The Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program draw is one of the key pathways for skilled workers and international graduates who want to settle in Canada.
Through regular invitation rounds, the province selects eligible candidates from the Expression of Interest pool based on factors such as work experience, education, language ability, and connections to the province.
Each draw reflects Manitoba’s changing labour market needs, offering opportunities across streams, including skilled workers in Manitoba, skilled workers overseas, and international education.
The latest Manitoba PNP draw was held on May 21, 2026, under the Skilled Worker Stream, issuing 96 Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs) for Permanent Residence.
The table below shows the distribution of invitations issued under Manitoba’s strategic recruitment initiatives.
| Strategic Recruitment Initiative | Number of LAAs |
| Employer Services | 31 |
| Ethnocultural Communities | 9 |
| Francophone Community | 4 |
| Regional Communities | 4 |
| TPP to Facilitate Work Permits for Prospective PNP Candidates | 48 |
Of the 96 Letters of Advice to Apply issued in this draw, 20 were issued to candidates who declared a valid Express Entry profile number and job seeker validation code.
To apply for the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP), candidates must meet specific eligibility requirements depending on the stream they choose. The program is designed to select skilled individuals who can support the province’s economy and successfully settle in Manitoba.
Applicants are generally assessed on the following factors:
Even if candidates meet the minimum requirements, selection is not guaranteed. Applicants are ranked through the EOI system and invited to participate in regular Manitoba PNP draws based on their overall score and labour market needs.
