Manitoba Latest PNP Draw Invites 911 Skilled Workers for Canada PR

The Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program conducted its latest draw on September 18, 2025, by inviting 911 Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs) to skilled workers. However, this program has the specific goal of filling the position under the strategic recruitment initiative with 847 positions issued under the Temporary Work Permit for PNP candidates.

As of now, the Manitoba latest draw does not provide any CRS score. Applicants were selected through two pathways: the skilled workers in Manitoba and the skilled workers overseas pathway.

Manitoba does not break down the LAAs into the different streams. Moreover, these Letters of Advice to Apply were only for the candidates who received the declaration receipt of Invitation to Apply (ITA). The table below shows the breakdown based on the strategic recruitment initiatives.

Out of the total invitations, 341 were issued to candidates with a valid Express Entry profile number and job seeker validation codes.

According to the official site, almost 90% of the LAAs issued to applicants under this draw have facilitated work permits under the temporary public policy by IRCC. However, this policy is only applicable to the applicants who are already working in Canada under a temporary work permit and also to those who have an expression of interest (EOI). They are eligible to get the new open work permit under the MPNP pathway.

Why are Candidates Not Receiving the Invitation?

As you all know, the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program is only for skilled workers who have relevant work experience, whether they are from a temporary work permit or have a strategic recruitment initiative.

If you are eligible to get this draw but are not receiving the LLA, it may be due to many factors, including:

• Declaring the third-party language proficiency test, but do not mention the result in EOI.
• Have the expired result of the language test.
• The issue may be failing to provide the correct invitation number in the EOI.
