Manitoba has conducted a new Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) draw, issuing invitations to skilled workers seeking permanent residence in Canada. The latest round of invitations reflects the province's ongoing efforts to attract talent that can help address labour market needs and support economic growth.
Through the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP), eligible candidates with the skills, work experience, and connections needed in the province may receive a provincial nomination, significantly improving their chances of obtaining Canadian permanent residence.
The latest draw targeted candidates under selected immigration streams, with invitations issued based on factors such as work experience, education, language ability, and ties to Manitoba.
The latest Manitoba PNP draw was held on June 04, 2026, under the Skilled Worker in Manitoba pathway or the Skilled Worker Overseas pathway, issuing 104 Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs) for Permanent Residence.
The latest draw targeted candidates through multiple Strategic Recruitment Initiative pathways, resulting in the following distribution of invitations:
Of the 104 Letters of Advice to Apply issued in this draw, 15 were issued to candidates who declared a valid Express Entry profile number and job seeker validation code.
Manitoba remains a top destination for skilled workers seeking opportunities in Canada due to its strong economy, affordable cost of living, and growing demand for talent across various industries.
The province offers high-demand opportunity in Canada, including healthcare, manufacturing, transportation, agriculture, information technology, and skilled trades, making it attractive to both experienced professionals and newcomers.
One of Manitoba's biggest advantages is its lower cost of living compared to many other Canadian provinces. Housing, transportation, and daily expenses are often more affordable, allowing newcomers to achieve a better quality of life while building their careers.
However, the province is also known for its welcoming communities, high standard of public services, and access to quality healthcare and education.
Through programs such as the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP), skilled workers can benefit from pathways to permanent residence while contributing to the province's workforce needs.
Combined with settlement services and employment support programs, Manitoba continues to provide a strong foundation for newcomers looking to live, work, and succeed in Canada.
