Manitoba PNP Welcomes 47 Skilled Candidates For PR Candidates

Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) released the second draw of the month. Manitoba consistently welcomes candidates in line with labour market needs and the province's economic growth. This province always waits 15 days before releasing its draw.

However, in the first draw of the year, the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program invited 55 Letters of Advice to Apply, of whom 10 had valid Express Entry Profile numbers. Regarding the 2025 draw, Manitoba held only 26 draws and issued 7,437 Invitation to Apply (ITA) for skilled candidates.

Who Is Eligible for the Skilled Worker in Manitoba Program?

The Skilled Worker in Manitoba (SWM) Program is designed for foreign nationals who are already working and settled in Manitoba and wish to apply for Canada permanent residence. To be eligible, candidates must demonstrate a strong connection to the province and the ability to economically establish themselves.

Applicants must meet the following key requirements:

• Currently working in Manitoba on a valid work permit
• Hold a full-time, long-term job offer from a Manitoba employer
• Have at least six months of continuous work experience with the same employer
• Meet minimum language proficiency (generally CLB 4 or higher)
• Submit a Settlement Plan showing intent to live and work in Manitoba
• Show sufficient financial resources to support the settlement

International graduates from Manitoba PNP institutions and temporary foreign workers are the primary candidates. Individuals with unresolved refugee claims or without legal status in Canada are ineligible for this stream.
