The Ontario Immigration Nominee Program (OINP) has conducted a new draw for skilled Francophone workers. The French-speaking Skilled Worker Stream is a key immigration pathway for individuals who are proficient in both French and English and wish to settle in the province of Ontario.
The latest OINP draw conducted on September 21, 2023, saw invitations being issued to 63 French-speaking Skilled Worker Stream candidates across a general draw. The minimum score required for candidates to receive a Notification of Interest (NOI) in this latest draw was 348-434.
This was the fifth invitation round conducted by Ontario for skilled Francophone workers in 2023.
Notifications of Interest (NOIs) are issued to eligible candidates on a weekly basis, with some exceptions. The frequency, size, and date of the upcoming Ontario Immigration Nominee Program draw are determined by Ontario's application inventory needs at the time of the invitation round.
If you’ve been nominated in this draw, the next step is to apply for Canada PR - to the federal government through IRCC. They make the final decision on who becomes a permanent resident.
