The Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) Express Entry Human Capital Priorities (HCP) stream is a strategic immigration pathway within Canada's Express Entry system. This stream is designed to attract skilled workers who possess the necessary qualifications and experience to meet Ontario's labor market needs.
Candidates interested in the HCP stream must first create an Express Entry profile and indicate their interest in immigrating to Ontario. The province then searches the Express Entry pool for individuals who meet the criteria of the HCP stream, such as having a minimum level of work experience, language proficiency, and education.
If selected, candidates receive a Notification of Interest (NOI) from Ontario, inviting them to apply for a provincial nomination. This nomination comes with an additional 600 Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) points, virtually guaranteeing an Invitation to Apply (ITA) in the subsequent federal Express Entry draw.
The OINP Express Entry HCP stream is a competitive yet rewarding pathway for skilled workers seeking permanent residency in Ontario. It aligns provincial and federal immigration goals, benefiting both the province and the candidates by ensuring a skilled and diverse workforce for Ontario's economic growth.
