In a significant update for Canada immigration, Ontario has conducted a new draw under the multiple streams of the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program.
This latest round highlights Ontario’s continued focus on selecting skilled workers who meet the province’s labour market needs, while also making the pathway more accessible to candidates with lower CRS scores.
This draw follows the previous Employer Job Offer stream draw held on February 18, 2026, where 1,404 ITAs were issued to eligible candidates across targeted occupations. For applicants, these frequent draws offer a strong opportunity to align their profiles with current requirements and improve their chances of securing a provincial nomination for Canada PR.
The latest Ontario PNP draw was held on March 18, 2026. A total of 1,243 were issued across all streams, including the foreign worker stream, the international students stream, the in-demand skills stream, and the masters graduate and PhD graduates stream.
The latest Ontario PNP round included 5 targeted draws across different streams, with 1,243 invitations issued to candidates aligned with Ontario’s economic and regional priorities.

Ontario PNP streams offer multiple pathways for candidates with different backgrounds, making it easier to find an option that aligns with your profile.
Each stream targets specific groups such as foreign workers, international students, and candidates with in-demand skills, allowing applicants to apply based on their qualifications and work experience rather than competing in a single pool.
For skilled workers, the Employer Job Offer streams provide a direct route to permanent residency if you have a valid job offer from an Ontario employer. International graduates can benefit from dedicated streams that recognize Canadian education, improving their chances of selection.
Similarly, the Ontario occupation In-Demand Skills stream focuses on labour shortages, offering opportunities to candidates who may not have high CRS scores.
Graduate streams such as Masters and PhD programs further expand options by prioritizing highly qualified candidates, even without a job offer. Overall, these streams increase your chances of receiving an invitation by offering targeted pathways.
By choosing the right stream and aligning your profile with Ontario’s requirements, you can significantly improve your chances of securing a provincial nomination and moving closer to Canada PR.
