Ontario Welcomes 1,825 Skilled Candidates in First Draws of the Year

In 2026, Ontario announced its first provincial nominee program for skilled candidates across multiple employer-driven streams, marking the start of the new year.

However, in the previous year, the Ontario PNP draw welcomed 12,528 skilled candidates through 45 draws. The program is divided into three main streams: Foreign Worker, International Student, and In-Demand Skills. These streams issued 4860 ITAs, 6605 ITAs, and 1063 candidates through 17, 17, and 11 draws, respectively.

What are the Eligibility Requirements for Canada PR?

To apply for Canada PR, applicants must meet specific criteria for the immigration program they choose. Common requirements include:
