Canada has recently released new instructions for PGWP holders.
The instructions are applicable to candidates whose Post-Graduate Work Permit (PGWP) expires between September 20, 2021, and December 31, 2022. The new instructions will allow PGWP holders to extend their work permit for an additional 18 months - or apply for a new one.

This recent update will affect candidates in 5 different ways. The Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) offers the following scenarios:
Such candidates will also be eligible to work in the interim. IRCC will be emailing notices to PGWP holders whose documents.
Also, Temporary Resident to Permanent Resident (TR2PR) candidates will also be eligible to apply for a work permit.
