Saskatchewan Uses One-Quarter of 2026 PNP Nomination Allocation

The Government of Saskatchewan has released new numbers on the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP). These numbers show that the province has already used a significant portion of of its 2026 nomination allocation.

As of now, Saskatchewan PNP draw has issued approximately 1,223 nominations, which is about 26% of the 4,761 nominations it can give out in a year.

These priority sectors are in line with Saskatchewan's Labour Market Strategy, which aims to make sure that a lack of workers doesn't slow down the province's economic growth.

SINP Processing Time Update

The Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) updates its processing times every three months. These timelines reflect the actual duration taken to process applications during the respective period. Processing times are provided in weeks for each category.

Note: SINP processing times are subject to change and should not be used to predict the processing duration of future applications.

Sector Caps and Intake Updates

Certain sectors under SINP have capped allocations, primarily to support workers already employed in Saskatchewan on valid temporary status. Once these caps are reached, intake windows close and processing updates are adjusted accordingly.

Saskatchewan Upcoming Intake Windows: Saskatchewan PNP Upcoming intake windows are scheduled for July 6, 2026, Sept. 7, 2026, and Nov. 2, 2026.

The Government of Saskatchewan updates SINP figures on a daily basis (Monday to Friday) during active intake periods or immediately when sector limits are reached. Intake distribution may vary depending on demand and remaining allocation.
