SINP latest draw invites 269 immigrants for provincial nomination

Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) held the latest rounds of invitations on April 22, inviting 269 immigrants to apply for a provincial nomination for Canada PR Visa.

Candidates were invited through SINP's International Skilled Worker subcategories - Express Entry and Occupation In-demand. 130 invited immigrants were from Express entry and the remaining 139 were invited from Occupation in-demand.

What are the minimum points required in the latest Saskatchewan PNP draw?

For candidates to be eligible for an invitation irrespective of the sub-categories, they need to score a minimum of 70 points in the SINP points assessment grid. Also, they must have work experience in any one of 59 in-demand occupations in the province.

Express Entry candidates who get a provincial nomination are awarded extra 600 CRS points added to their profile. These many points effectively guarantee an Invitation To Apply (ITA) to apply for a PR Visa.

Candidates who don't have an express entry profile can also apply for SINP's provincial nomination through Occupation in-demand subcategory.  To apply for this subcategory immigrants are required to create an Expression of Interest (EOI) with the SINP's online portal

Some of the targeted Occupations were as follows:

  • NOC Code 0014 - Senior managers - health, education, social, and community services.
  • NOC Code 0016 - Senior managers - construction, transportation, production, and utilities.
  • NOC Code 0121 - Insurance, real estate, and financial brokerage managers
  • NOC Code 0131 - Telecommunication carriers managers
  • NOC Code 0132 - Postal and courier services managers
  • NOC Code 0212 - Architecture and science managers
