Canada has secured 4th place in the 2024 U.S. News Country Rankings, with an impressive overall score of 94.1. Its strong performance in areas such as quality of life, entrepreneurship, social purpose, and agility contributed to this high ranking. Switzerland claimed the top spot this year, achieving a perfect score of 100.

Below are the top ten countries for 2024 along with their indexed scores:

Canada has been on the top 5s best countries for the last four years. In 2023, the Great White North placed second in the overall country rankings. Despite the consistency in strong performance, the ranking drop from last year was largely attributed to the score dips in:
