Manitoba immigration programs
Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) is the immigration pathway of Manitoba which is also aligned with the conditions of the federal government. Since the provinces and territories in Canada don't have the liberty to issue a permanent residency status, which is why Manitoba sponsors candidates by issuing provincial nominations to invite them to apply for permanent residence.
Manitoba would be beneficial to you only if you register with an Expression of Interest in the MPNP. This puts you in a position to receive an LAA through the Skilled Workers in Manitoba and Skilled Workers Overseas streams.
Candidates who meet the labour market requirements of Manitoba can immigrate to Canada by lodging an application in the Skilled Workers Overseas Category and Skilled Workers.
The candidates are then ranked out of 1,000 points for their core human factors along with adaptability factors of proven connections to the province.
One can pique the interest of the Manitoba government through demonstrated ties to the province through close family relations, previous work experience in Manitoba, or receiving an invite through one of Manitoba's Strategic Recruitment Initiatives.
A full-time valid job offer from a Manitoba employer is needed to receive an invitation under the Skilled Workers in Manitoba stream. Foreign graduates who have previously completed or are still practicing their education in Manitoba can apply for a provincial invite under the International Education Stream.
