New Brunswick has reiterated its commitment to attracting French-speaking individuals through a targeted PNP draw for FRANCO applicants seeking Canadian PR.
In addition to creating new opportunities, the New Brunswick PNP draw emphasizes several key elements of interest to all applicants: the required level of French language proficiency, existing work-related connections to the Province of New Brunswick, and a genuine desire to live in New Brunswick after obtaining Canadian PR.
With increased demand for labour and continued growth in support for Bilingual Communities, this PNP draw will provide an excellent option for those wishing to reside in Canada permanently.
The latest New Brunswick PNP draw issued 110 invitations under Skilled Worker and Express Entry streams, helping candidates move closer to Canada permanent residency.
New Brunswick’s December 2025 NBPNP draws focused on Francophone applicants across all sectors, selecting candidates through the Employment in New Brunswick, New Brunswick Experience, and Graduate immigration pathways.
| Date of draw | Stream | Invitations issued | Occupational categories selected |
| December 9, 2025 | New Brunswick Express Entry Stream | 8 | Francophone applicants, all sectors |
| December 9, 2025 | New Brunswick Skilled Worker Stream | 102 | Francophone applicants, all sectors |
Immigration New Brunswick (ImmigrationNB) manages applications to the New Brunswick Provincial Nominee Program (NBPNP) through a structured Expression of Interest (EOI) system. Before submitting a complete application, candidates must first create and submit an EOI profile through the INB online portal.
This profile enables ImmigrationNB to assess a candidate’s skills, work experience, language proficiency, education, and connection to the province to support their Canada PR application.
Expressions of interest are reviewed based on New Brunswick’s evolving labour market needs, available nomination allocations, candidates holding a valid Canada Work Permit, and other priorities set by the provincial government.
Meeting the eligibility criteria of an New Brunswick PNP stream does not guarantee an invitation to apply, and receiving an invitation does not ensure nomination approval. Only candidates selected in targeted draws may submit a complete application under the stream specified in their invitation.
