Northwest Territories Nominee Program Increases 2026 Nomination Allocation

The Northwest Territories has given its 2026 immigration plans a significant boost by obtaining 103 additional nomination spaces. The additional allocation increases the Northwest Territories Nominee Program (NTNP), giving aspiring immigrants an opportunity to obtain Canada PR.

However, the Government NTNP has also added another (EOI) draw on August 26, 2026. Applications must submit their application by August 24, 2026, in order to be considered. Furthermore, the territory has stated that there would be four EOI draws in 2026, with the final draw scheduled for September 25, 2026.

Meanwhile, candidates can explore the different immigration streams based on their eligibility criteria, while the increased allocation creates more opportunities to address the Northwest Territories’ labour market requirements.
