Canada has conducted its second-ever Express Entry draw for senior managers with Canadian work experience, continuing its targeted approach to selecting experienced professionals.
The previous Express Entry draw, held on March 5, 2026, invited 250 candidates under the Senior Managers with Canadian Work Experience category, with a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 429.
As of now, IRCC has invited 750 skilled candidates under the senior manager with Canadian work experience stream.
The latest draw reflects Canada's ongoing efforts to retain skilled leadership talent and strengthen its workforce through category-based immigration.
Canada released the latest Express Entry draw under the new category for senior managers with Canadian work experience on July 10, 2026, inviting 500 candidates with a minimum CRS score of 392.
Draw Number: #426
If more than one candidate has the lowest score, the cut-off is based on the date and time they submitted their Express Entry profiles.
So far, Canada has issued 8,034 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) through four Express Entry draws held in July 2026. The table below summarizes each draw, including the round type, invitation count, and minimum CRS score.
| Draw Date | Round type | No. of ITAs | Minimum CRS Score |
| July 10, 2026 | Senior managers with Canadian Work Experience | 500 | 392 |
| July 09, 2026 | French-Language proficiency | 5,000 | 420 |
| July 07, 2026 | Canadian Experience Class | 2,000 | 517 |
| July 06, 2026 | Provincial Nominee Program | 534 | 708 |
Canada's second Express Entry draw for senior managers demonstrates IRCC's continued focus on attracting experienced professionals who can contribute to the country's economic growth and leadership needs.
With the CRS cut-off dropping from 429 in the previous round to 392, more eligible candidates may have a stronger chance of receiving an Invitation to Apply in future draws.
These targeted draws also reflect Canada's strategy to address labour market needs by retaining experienced professionals with proven Canadian Experience Class (CEC).
Staying informed about the latest Express Entry updates and category-based draws can help candidates prepare effectively and improve their chances of receiving an ITA in upcoming invitation rounds.
