The selection of the candidates by Immigration New Brunswick

The NBPNP is an Expression of Interest system, the structure of which requires candidates to append an EOI on the INB portal. The invitations are made on:

  • Provincial labour needs
  • Available nomination allocation
  • New Brunswick government-designated priority industries

It is significant to remember that eligibility does not mean being invited, and although you have been given an ITA, you are not ensured of being nominated.

The shortlisted candidates will be allowed to apply within the identified stream within 45 days.

Major Occupations to Be Conducted in These Draws

The June draws targeted the high-demand occupations in the province. These include:

  • Nurses, medical technologists, and support staff
  • Teachers, counsellors, and community service representatives are examples of educators and social workers.
  • Construction Trades: Other skilled employees, plumbers, electricians, and carpenters
  • New Brunswick experienced graduates

How does this affect potential immigrants?

The New Brunswick PNP is also an effective channel for acquiring permanent residency by professionals who wish to immigrate to Atlantic Canada. Through constant draws on New Brunswick Experience and Priority Occupations, the province is flexible and presents opportunities to candidates with work permits or pre-existing employment associations.

It would be quite beneficial to do some research on the current draws launched in New Brunswick and match all your details to the priority NOC groups to ensure that there are better chances of getting selected.
