Streams Targeted in the Quebec Selection Round

  • Intermediate and Manual Skills: This category focuses on workers in TEER 3, 4, and 5 occupations, including trades and technical roles. Candidates needed at least 2 years of work experience in the past 5 years, including 1 year in Quebec.
  • Regulated Professions: The largest share of invitations was issued under this stream. It focused on priority sectors such as healthcare, engineering, construction, and education, where professional licensing or credential recognition may be required.
  • Exceptional Talent: A small number of invitations were issued to individuals with exceptional achievements or specialized expertise recognized by Quebec authorities. These candidates typically demonstrate advanced academic or professional accomplishments.
