Canada Holds First Express Entry Draw for Transport Occupations in 2026

The latest Express Entry draw could bring encouraging news for eligible candidates. Canada has issued 300 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) in the Express Entry draw. The draw targeted candidates under the Transport occupations category, with a minimum (CRS) score of 470.

This marks the first Transport-focused Express Entry draw of 2026 and only the fourth draw targeting Transport occupations. The draw highlights Canada’s continued efforts to address labour shortages in the transport sector.

It also highlights targeted opportunities for skilled transport professionals seeking Canadian permanent residence. Eligible candidates should monitor future category-based draws and changing CRS requirements.
