Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has once again extended Invitations to Apply (ITAs) through the Express Entry system, conducting a Provincial Nominee Program focused draw. This is the eleventh Express Entry draw of 2026 and the first round of invitations issued this month.
In January 2026, Canada issued invitations to 15,255 skilled candidates, followed by 19,593 invitations in February 2026. Combined, these two months alone saw 34,848 skilled applicants invited to apply for Canada PR, highlighting the strong pace of immigration admissions early in the year.
Canada released the latest Express Entry draw on March 02, 2026, inviting 264 candidates with a minimum CRS score of 710.
If more than one candidate has the lowest score, the cut-off is based on the date and time they submitted their Express Entry profiles.
Here is a summary of Express Entry draws in 2026, showing draw dates, categories, number of ITAs issued, and minimum CRS scores. Which includes:

A Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) draw greatly improves a candidate’s chances of securing the Canadian Permanent Residence (PR) by providing direct provincial support for their immigration applications.
When a province issues a nomination, it confirms that the candidate’s skills, work experience, and occupations align with the local labour market needs and economic growth of the province.
For candidates in the Express Entry system, a provincial nomination adds 600 points to their CRS score. This massive points boost almost guarantees an Invitation to Apply (ITA) for PR in the next Federal Skilled Worker Program draw, regardless of the candidate’s original CRS score. As a result, even applicants with moderate scores become highly competitive.
For non-Express Entry candidates, a PNP nomination offers a dedicated PR pathway with lower competition and faster processing compared to general federal programs.
Additionally, PNP draws are often targeted, focusing on specific occupations or sectors, which further increases the chances of selection.
