Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has issued hundreds of invitations through the Express Entry draw. Once again, Canada focuses on selecting provincial nominees for permanent residence.
However, today's draw is the twenty-fourth Express Entry selection of 2026. In the latest Express Entry draw, Canada increased the CRS cut-off score by 9 points and the number of invitations by 145.
So far, IRCC has invited 3,736 skilled candidates through the Provincial Nominee Program-based Express Entry draw.
Canada released the latest Express Entry draw on April 27, 2026, inviting 473 skilled candidates with a minimum CRS score of 795.
If more than one candidate has the lowest score, the cut-off is based on the date and time they submitted their Express Entry profiles.

Predicting the next Express Entry draw involves analyzing IRCC's recent behaviour as of April 28, 2026.
According to the IRCC, the recently observed pattern of the year, the next round is likely in early May 2026, around May 11. IRCC has been conducting draws in clusters, typically on Monday and Wednesday, indicating a more structured, frequent schedule.
With a Provincial Nominee Program draw already held on April 27, the current period marks a high-activity window.
This suggests that additional draws, including category-based or Canadian Experience Class rounds, may follow soon, offering increased opportunities for eligible candidates.
