Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has conducted its Express Entry latest draw, issuing 2,500 Invitations to Apply to candidates in the Healthcare and Social Services occupations category. This was the third Express Entry and second-largest healthcare draw of the year and the 32nd round of invitations in 2025.
The latest Express Entry Draw held on August 19, 2025 issuing 2,500 invitations to category-based draw candidates targeting Healthcare and Social Services occupations. The minimum CRS score required was 470.
If more than one candidate has the lowest score, IRCC applied the tie-breaking rule based on the date and time of profile submission.
Invitations were also open to candidates under the Federal Skilled Worker Program, Canadian Experience Class, and Federal Skilled Trades Program may be issued through this round of invitations.

Since May 2025, Canada Immigration department has held one healthcare-focused draw every month, highlighting a growing priority for skilled professionals in Healthcare and social services sector. Prior to this, no healthcare draws had taken place this year.
Today's category-based selection follows a Healthcare and social services draw held on 19 August, a Provincial Nominee Program on 18 August, a French-language proficiency (CEC) draw on 8 August, a Canadian Experience Class draw on 7 August and a Provincial Nominee Program on 6 August.
Thus far, IRCC has issued 55,820 ITAs through the Express Entry system in this year. Express Entry draws this year have primarily focused on PNP draws, while others targeted Canadian Experience Class (CEC) candidates, French-language proficiency candidates, and those in priority occupation-based categories such as healthcare, social services, and education.
