Eligibility Criteria To Apply In PNP-Based Express Entry Draw

To apply for a PNP-based Express Entry draw, applicants must meet the requirements of both Express Entry and a Provincial Nominee Program (PNP).

• Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP)
• Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP)
• Canadian Experience Class (CEC)

Provincial Nomination Program (PNP)

• You must receive a nomination from a Canadian province or territory.
• Each province has its own PNP streams designed to meet local labour market needs.
• Once nominated, you’ll receive an additional 600 CRS points, which significantly increases your chances of getting an Invitation to Apply (ITA).

However, the candidate’s Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score must meet or exceed the cutoff in the specific draw. Your Express Entry profile must be active and valid at the time of the draw. You must demonstrate a genuine intention to apply for Canada PR and want to live and work in the province that nominated you.
