IRCC has just released the latest Express Entry draw for candidates in the Canadian Experience Class (CEC). This is the fifth Express Entry draw of the month and the second CEC-specific draw of the month.
However, Canada is inviting skilled workers with Canadian work experience to apply for Canada PR. This draw also reflects Canada's ongoing efforts to strengthen the workforce by prioritizing applicants who have already integrated into the Canadian labour market.
IRCC announced the latest Express Entry Draw, specifically for the Canadian Experience Class (CEC), issuing 5,000 ITAs on December 16, 2025, with a minimum CRS score of 515.
Draw Number - #387
If more than one candidate has the lowest score, the cut-off is determined by the date and time of their Express Entry profile submission.
In December 2025, Canada issued 13,522 invitations to apply (ITAs) across various round types, including PNP, CEC, and healthcare professionals, with a CRS score range of 515-731.
| Date | Round Type | Invitations Issued | Minimum CRS score |
| December 16, 2025 | Canadian Experience Class | 5,000 | 515 |

This section provides a detailed breakdown of Express Entry draws by category, highlighting the total number of draws and invitations issued in 2025 till now, while contributing to Canada’s overall PR targets.
| Draw Type | Number of Draws | ITAs Issued to Date |
| Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) | 24 | 10,898 |

A CEC-specific Express Entry draw offers significant advantages to candidates with Canadian work experience. Since invitations are issued exclusively to Canadian Experience Class applicants, competition from other streams is reduced, improving the chances of receiving an Invitation to Apply (ITA).
These targeted draws often result in more predictable CRS cut-offs, allowing eligible candidates to plan their applications more strategically.
Additionally, Canadian Experience Class applicants typically benefit from faster Canada PR processing times because their work experience, language proficiency, and credentials already align with Canadian standards.
Overall, CEC-specific draws provide a more straightforward, faster, and more streamlined pathway to permanent residence for skilled workers already contributing to Canada’s labour market.
