Canada announced a new Express Entry draw for the Canadian Experience Class (CEC) only. This is the sixth CEC draw, issuing the exact same number of invitations to apply (ITA).
However, the latest Canadian experience class draw has created a new opportunity only for temporary residents, international graduates, and skilled workers who already live in Canada and want to apply for Canada PR.
Through this draw, IRCC again focuses on selecting domestic candidates who can already contribute to the country's economic growth and meet labour market needs.
Canada held a latest Express Entry draw on November 26, 2025, inviting 1,000 Canadian Experience Class (CEC) candidates with a CRS score of 531 to apply for permanent residency.
If more than one candidate has the lowest score, the cut-off is based on the date and time they submitted their Express Entry profiles.
Based on the summary of the November Express Entry draw, this may significantly boost your chances of receiving an ITA and moving one step closer to Canada PR.
| Date | Round Type | Number of invitations | Minimum CRS score |
| November 26, 2025 | Canadian Experience Class | 1,000 | 531 |
| November 25, 2025 | Provincial Nominee Program | 777 | 699 |
| November 14, 2025 | Healthcare and social services | 3,500 | 462 |
| November 12, 2025 | Canadian Experience Class | 1,000 | 533 |
| November 10, 2025 | Provincial Nominee Program | 714 | 738 |
The Canadian Experience Class (CEC) has opened the direct pathway for skilled workers who are already living and contributing to Canada’s labour market. This draw is designed to prioritize candidates with Canadian work experience, as they are more likely to integrate quickly and meet workforce needs across provinces.
To apply for this draw, eligible candidates must have at least 1 year of skilled work experience in Canada in NOC TEER categories 0, 1, 2, or 3. They must also meet the minimum language requirements and ensure their Express Entry profile is active and fully updated.
Once the profile is submitted, candidates enter the Express Entry pool, where they are ranked according to the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS). During the CEC-specific draw, IRCC invites the highest-ranking candidates who meet the eligibility criteria. The invitation round also includes a cut-off score that indicates the minimum CRS points required to receive an Invitation to Apply (ITA).
After receiving an ITA, applicants must submit all documents, including work proof, language results, and medicals, within the 60-day window. Completing this process on time increases the chances of obtaining Canada PR through the CEC stream.
