First Express Entry Draw Conducted Under Minister Lena Metlege Diab Leadership

Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has conducted a new Express Entry draw. This was the first invitation round conducted by the department in June.

If you have been invited to the Express Entry latest draw, you will have 60 days to submit a complete application for PR Visa to the IRCC. Your Invitation to Apply (ITA) will not be valid if this timeframe passes.

Express Entry Latest Draw - Results

The latest Express Entry draw was held on June 2, 2025. ITAs were issued to 277 candidates across a PNP-specific draw. Invited candidates required a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 726 to be eligible for an invitation.

If more than one candidate has the lowest score, the cut-off is based on the date and time they submitted their Express Entry profiles.

Invitations to apply to the Provincial Nominee Program(PNP) may be issued through this round of invitations.

Express Entry PNP Draws in 2025

The Express Entry draws conducted in 2025 show a strong focus on the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP), Canadian Experience Class (CEC), and French Language Proficiency candidates. The highest invitations were given in French draws, with 7,500 candidates on March 21,2025 and 6,500 on February 19, 2025. 

IRCC has conducted nine PNP-specific draws in 2025, including the latest Express Entry Draw. So far, 4867 candidates have been invited to apply for Canada PR under this category and CRS between 667-802.

As of this latest draw, IRCC has issued 34,717 ITAs through 18 rounds of Express Entry Program in 2025. Overall, the trends suggest a strong preference for PNP and Canadian Experience Class candidates, with moderate opportunities for French language proficiency applicants.
