First PEI PNP draw of March invites Foreign Workers and Entrepreneurs

The Prince Edward Island Provincial Nominee Program (PEI PNP) has conducted a new draw.

The PEI PNP latest draw held on March 21, 2024, saw invitations being issued to 85 candidates under both Business Work Permit Entrepreneur and Labour & Express Entry categories.

Invitations were issued to candidates working in the Healthcare, Construction, and Manufacturing sectors.

This draw is in line with the PEI PNP draw schedule for 2024. PEI is the only Canadian province that makes its draw schedule public in advance.

We can expect 23 PEI PNP draws in 2024.

To immigrate through Prince Edward Island PNP, candidates must first create a profile in PEI’s Expression of Interest (EOI) system. Once in the pool of candidates, they will be ranked and assigned a score based on factors including Age, Language Proficiency, Education, Work Experience, and more.

Subsequently, in an invitation round, PEI selects candidates that meet the minimum score requirement - and invites them to apply for permanent residency. Apart from the date of the draw and category, the PEI PNP does not publish the minimum score and selection attributes beforehand. It usually depends on the application inventory and labour market needs.
