Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) conducted the latest draw for Healthcare and Social Services occupations on September 4, 2026. This marked the 3rd draw of this year under this particular category.
However, the latest draw highlights the IRCC’s continued efforts to recruit skilled workers. The main priority workers are those who are crucial to Canada’s healthcare and social support systems.
Moreover, the category-based approach focuses on qualified professionals whose expertise satisfies the workforce requirements. It consists of medical services, frontline healthcare and community.
IRCC has conducted the Latest Express Entry draw for Healthcare and Social Services Occupations. The draw was held on September, 4th, 2026, inviting 3,500 applicants with a minimum CRS score of 475.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Between January 5, 2026, and September 4, 2026, Express Entry draws issued 126,156 ITAs for Canadian permanent residence.
