Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has conducted a Latest Express Entry draw. The round was held on August 5, 2026. A total of 3,000 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) were issued.
The draw targeted candidates under the Canadian Experience Class (CEC). The minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score required was 516.
However, this was the second Express Entry draw conducted in August 2026. It also marked the 44th Express Entry draw of the year.
The Canadian Experience Class (CEC) is one of Canada's major economic immigration programs. It is designed for skilled workers with eligible Canadian work experience. The program allows international graduates and foreign workers to transition to permanent residence.
IRCC issued the latest Express Entry draw on August 5, 2026, inviting 3000 ITAs for the Canadian Experience Class (CEC) with a minimum CRS score of 516.
Draw Number: #432
If more than one candidate has the lowest score, the cut-off is based on the date and time they submitted their Express Entry profiles.
The table below outlines all Canadian Experience Class draws held in 2026, including the number of ITAs issued and the CRS cut-off scores.
In 2026, CEC draws issued a total 48,250 ITAs, while CRS cut-off scores remained relatively stable, ranging from 507 to 518.

Applicants who have received an invitation have a duration of 60 calendar days to submit an accurate application for permanent residence through their Express Entry account.
Medical examination, Police certificates, educational credential assessment, and employment reference letters should be collected on an urgent basis because every document carries its own processing deadline.
If the 60-day window passes without a submission, the invitation expires and the applicant's profile returns to the Express Entry pool with their initial CRS score.
Candidates who apply in August might anticipate a decision in early to mid-2027 because CEC permanent residency applications currently take an average of six to seven months to process.
However, the most significant signal from this Express Entry round is the increase in invites from 2,000 to 3,000. The August 5 CEC draw demonstrates that IRCC is upholding the cluster model while demonstrating flexibility on invitation quantities.
The first August cluster is anticipated to be completed with a French-language draw within the following day or two.
