Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) conducted its latest Express Entry draw on August 6, 2025, inviting 225 candidates for the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) stream. This is the first Express Entry draw of the month. Last month, IRCC conducted four Express Entry draws that invited 7,558 candidates to apply for permanent residence.
If you receive an invitation in the latest Express Entry draw, you will have 60 days to submit a complete application for permanent residence to the IRCC. If this timeframe results, your Invitation to Apply (ITA) will no longer be valid.
The latest Express Entry draw was held on August 6, 2025 and a total of 225 candidates were invited to apply for permanent residence under the Provincial Nominee Program category. The minimum CRS required for this draw was 739.
The express entry draw follows a series of category-based and program-specific rounds of invitations.
So far in 2025, IRCC has issued 49,628 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) through the Express Entry system.

Currently, 80% of Canada PR applications under the Express Entry program are being processed within 6 months.
