Canada has conducted another Express Entry draw, marking the 47th Express Entry draw of 2026. The draw was conducted on August 17, 2026 and invited candidates under the Provincial Nominee Program(PNP) category.
However, the latest Express Entry draw a total of 442 ITA issued to eligible candidates. The minimum CRS score was 760. This draw continues to attract skilled applicants based on its economic and labour market requirements.
Whereas, this express Entry draw demonstrates the importance of provincial nomination for candidates seeking PR. This is especially for those who fulfill the requirements of participating provincial programs.
Moreover, a Canadian Experience Class (CEC) draw is expected within the next one to two days, which could bring another opportunity for eligible Express Entry candidates to receive an Invitation to Apply.
The latest Express Entry PNP draw was conducted on August 17, 2026 and a total of 442 candidates were invited to apply under PNP category with a CRS score of 760 or more were eligible to get an invitation in this round.

If more than one candidate has the lowest score, the cut-off is based on the date and time they submitted their Express Entry profiles.

Canada has set a goal of 91,500 PNP admissions for 2026, highlighting the program's ongoing importance for skilled professionals.
To improve your chances, target provinces where your work experience, profession, qualification, language skills, or job offer meet current eligibility requirements. Every province has its own selection process and eligibility criteria.
Ontario's new Workforce Priority Stream launched on August 4, 2026, offering qualified skilled workers with experience and qualifying jobs as an additional choice.
Candidates must first be eligible for an Express Entry program in order to be eligible for PNPs linked to it. A provincial nomination can then add 600 CRS points, significantly improving the chance of receiving an ITA.
