The latest Express Entry draw has created new opportunities for Canadian Experience Class (CEC) candidates.
In this round, Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) cut-off score was 516, which was one point less than the 517 needed for the previous CEC draw on July 7, 2026.
This is the sixth Express Entry Draw held in July 2026 and second draw for the Canadian Experience Class. With this latest draw, IRCC has issued a total of 10,545 ITAs across all Express Entry draws in July.
The most recent CEC draw demonstrates Canada's ongoing commitment to keeping talented individuals who now reside and work there.
IRCC held the latest Express Entry Draw on July 21, 2026, issuing 2,000 ITAs to Canadian Experience Class (CEC) candidates. The minimum CRS score was 516.
If more than one candidate has the lowest score, the cut-off is based on the date and time they submitted their Express Entry profiles.
The table below provides a category-wise breakdown of all Express Entry draws held in 2026, including the total number of Invitations to Apply (ITAs) issued and the number of draws conducted under each category.

The Express Entry system offers three federal immigration programs, one of which is Canadian Experience Class.
Those who have completed at least one year of skilled work experience in Canada within the three years prior to applying are eligible for the CEC program.
Applicants chosen for this program should have been working in the NOC TEER 0, 1, 2, or 3, which include professional, management, technical and skilled trade occupations respectively. Since candidates are only competing with one another, CEC drawings have lower CRS cut-offs than previous rounds like PNP.
For foreign nationals who are already employed in Canada, this program is still one of the simplest ways to obtain permanent residency.
Among the main beneficiaries of Canadian Experience Class program are foreign graduates who obtained a post-graduation work permit and then transitioned to skilled occupations.
Applicants in the Express Entry pool should keep their profiles up to date, ensure all information is correct and accurate, and explore ways to increase their CRS scores.
