Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has conducted a new Express Entry Draw. This was the second invitation round conducted by the department this month. Just yesterday, IRCC invited 955 candidates across a PNP-specific draw.
Today, candidates from Express Entry’s Canadian Experience Class (CEC) were invited to apply for Canada permanent residence (PR). If you have been invited to this latest Express Entry draw, you will have 60 days to submit your complete application for Canada PR. If this timeframe passes, your Invitation to Apply (ITA) will no longer be valid.
The latest Express Entry draw was held on June 23, 2026 and ITAs were issued to 4,000 candidates under the Canadian Experience Class (CEC) stream. Invited candidates required a minimum CRS score of 516 to be eligible for an invitation.
Type of Draw: Canadian Experience Class
If more than one candidate has the lowest score, the cut-off is based on the date and time they submitted their Express Entry profiles.
If you did not get invited
If you were not invited in the latest Express Entry draw, your profile will remain active in the Express Entry pool for 12 months from the date of submission. Do not withdraw your application, you may receive an ITA in the next Express Entry draw. Express Entry draws are held once every two weeks.
IRCC has invited a total of 41,250 candidates so far this year through the Express Entry - Canadian Experience Class Candidates only. May has already seen four rounds of invitations, including two Provincial Nominee Program draws one French-Language proficiency and Canadian Experience Class draw.

The Canadian Experience Class (CEC) is one of the most popular pathways for skilled workers already living and working in Canada. If you have gained eligible Canadian work experience, CEC offers a faster and more streamlined route to permanent residence through the Express Entry Program.
CEC candidates benefit from having Canadian work experience, which can significantly improve their CRS score. Additionally, they are not required to provide proof of settlement funds if they are currently authorized to work in Canada and have a valid job offer.
For temporary workers seeking to transition to permanent resident status, the Canadian Experience Class remains an excellent option to build a future in Canada.
