The Newfoundland and Labrador Provincial Nominee Program (NLPNP) attracts applicants who can satisfy the province’s labour market requirements and contribute to its economy. Eligible candidates might qualify through pathways such as the Express Entry Skilled Worker, Skilled Worker and Priority Skills NL, depending on the program requirements.
However, to be considered, applicants must submit an EOI through the NLPNP’s online system, giving details about education, professional experience and intention to settle in the province.
Additionally, the province assesses EOIs based on its labour market requirements and immigration priorities. Selected applicants might get an ITA for provincial nomination. Those who get a nomination can then apply for Canada PR through Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC), subject to the applicable federal requirements.
This process allows Newfoundland and Labrador PNP to choose qualified professionals whose work experience and education align with the workforce requirements.
